Warning to hikers: Unusual pollution in northern streams - may be dangerous to enter water...

The Ministries of Health and Environmental Protection have warned hikers against entering several northern streams after water tests detected irregularities. The affected streams include the Banias, Hatzbani, Jordan, Meshusim, Gilabon, Zaki, Yehudiyah, Tzalmon and Kziv.

Authorities advised that the pollution may pose health risks and recommended avoiding contact with the water until further notice.
