IDF forces eliminated Islamic Jihad commander Tareq Anwar Khamis Ra'i. The commander had infiltrated Kibbutz Be'eri on October 7 and participated in the abduction of an Israeli civilian.

The strike targeted a terrorist involved in the October 7 attacks.
